Trophia was  contracted by the New Zealand Ministry of Fisheries (MFish) to carry out a stock assessment for trevally

( Pseudocaranx dentex ) in TRE 7, including estimating biomass and sustainable yield.The specific objectives for this project were:

1. To update the standardised and unstandardised CPUE analyses for TRE 7.

2. To update the current TRE 7 stock assessment including estimating biomass and sustainable yield.

This project was funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Fisheries Project TRE2001/02
