Research and advice for sustainable fisheries

Trophia provides high quality research and advice for the sustainable management of marine resources. Trophia's services span all aspects of marine resource management from data collection to policy formulation.

Trophia has an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to marine resource management. Through field research, information necessary to monitor and assess a resource is collected. This data is stored in purpose built databases that allow for rapid reporting back to resource stakeholders.

Data analyses and resource modelling are then used to estimate the status and dynamics of the resource. These estimates can be used to forecast the status of the stock and assess alternative management strategies.
